This book was read by me 2-3 years ago and it have changed me somehow you know why? coz I live in Uzbekistan and I could not feel how my brothers who live nearby live when we live in pace they suffer that situation when we refuse to eat the food which we don't like the children in Afghanistan they just want to eat whatever it is just to stay alive..... Of Corse the friendship here surprised me but I hated Amir for his behavior with his friend, I cried when his friend took the responsibility on his shoulder when it came to find the watch which was stolen by Amir himself, this is the real way being friends. The thing in which they pronounced their first words Amir said "BABA" but Hassan said "Amir" Hassan believed in all the words, which was said by Amir. Therefore, no words to explain just read the book and you will know how it is to live.

Я читала эту книгу несколько лет назад на русском языке и осталась в восторге! Поэтому купила оригинальный текст. Обложка очень красивая, мягкий переплет, бумага ближе к газетной, но плотная. Шрифт немного мелковат, но неудобств при чтении не вызывает. Так как автор современный, то язык доступный.
